Red Flags Rule Training

Kroll Fraud Solutions has created an electronic Red Flags Rule employee training course entitled "Red Flags Rule: Identify, Detect, Respond." This eLearning Course is to assist affected organizations comply with Section114 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) of 2003, also known as the Identity Theft Red Flags and Notices of Address Discrepancy or "Red Flags Rule."

The purpose of this 20-minute eLearning Course educates employees of affected organizations to understand the Red Flags Rule and recognize their role in identification of the Red Flags relevant to the business; administer proper detection of Red Flags in the course of daily business; and identify a suitable response when a Red Flag is detected.

Learning objectives of the course include:

• Understanding the FACTA Red Flags Rule and definitions for each component;
• Identifying the five categories for potential Red Flags;
• Explaining some of the ways an employee can verify identification for both new and existing accounts;
• Examining the possible responses to detected Red Flags based upon the level of risk; and
• Determining the changes that should be included in a periodic Red Flag program update.
